CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As an Embedded Software Technical Manager, you'll oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, the project team, and line management. This involves reviewing project status and managing schedules, assessing programmatic and technical issues for programs, developing and leading action plans to drive resolutions that meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. This role requires a strong technical background that supports engineering best practices and quality mission critical Embedded Realtime Software development.

What you bring to the table:

* A Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
* Fully proficient understanding of project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls
* Ability to provide strong technical input to project or engineering management in linking task-related strategy to achieve business goals
* Ability to uncover technical and organizational risks and ensure they are included in risk mitigation plans
