Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll participate in electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis and performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.) for the design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems. You'll make an impact throughout the electrical development life cycle and your talent will be put to a world-class test.

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree
  • Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Proven knowledge of electrical engineering processes and design tools
  • Basic electrical systems, up through 480-3 phase supply
  • Data acquisition equipment setup, support, corrective action, low voltage sensor suite (pressure, flow, encoders, resolvers, etc.)
  • Low voltage circuit design
  • Experience in PLC, VME and FPGA are desirable skill sets
  • Ability to conduct thorough analysis of data acquired from complete low voltage sensor suite
  • Work in a cross functional role, communicating within Integration & Test, Command & Control and Power Data Management Systems
  • Knowledge of electronically controlled hydraulic valve systems is a plus
