Director / Head of Engineering - leading crypto startup
San Francisco, CA
The company's product is in the realms of fintech, blockchain, crypto, and financial services. It does not have its own cryptocurrency, but rather provides infrastructure services to leading banks, exchanges, and decentralized partners. They are helping to replace the pre-existing banking infrastructure in a compliant manner.
The company has about 30 employees and 10 engineers, and has raised series B funding from leading investors in the crypto space. Revenues are rapidly growing and they could be profitable if they desired, but are focused on growth.
The company is targeting a base salary of $200k but can go up to $250k if necessary. They will provide equity which could be lucrative. Candidates who fit this job/company will likely be able to get much more cash per year from large companies, but value the potential reward of equity much more than the guaranteed cash they'd be giving up to join a startup such as this.
