oLead the execution and delivery of innovative technology projects, including research and process innovation for Technology Research & Innovation Lab.
oLead end-to-end software development projects having strong understanding of SDLC full lifecycle and delivery of software pilots as well as prototypes under strict timeline and budget.
oWith full accountability for on-time within-budget delivery, you are expected to wear three hats:
Technologist: recommend and provide inputs on the choice of appropriate technology stacks. More emphasis would be on being a strong technologist.
Business analyst: support Business/Product group in requirements analysis, drafting of functional/non-functional specifications, workflows etc.
Project manager: function as a PM/Scrum Master to create project plans.
oConduct fast-paced vendor assessments and vendor management including vendor onboarding, assessments of RFPs, SOWs and other paper work, technology due diligence, tech evaluations, assessment of vendor-offered services, tools and platforms, attend presentations and demos etc.
oYou might have to manage one or two internal teams to deliver on multiple projects, be a strong individual-contributor, act as a SME and independently conduct exercises related to research, intelligence gathering, market studies, analysis and process optimization.
oMitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
oMinimum of 10 years of software development, SDLC, software delivery experience.
oBachelor's degree in computer science or related field
oExperience in and in-depth knowledge of Distributed Ledger Technology platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger
oDevelopment experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS preferably) is required
oKnowledge of Financial Services industry (desirable not required)
oExperience managing projects is a plus

1.This is an individual contributor role in the research lab of Client. Team size 15.
2.Implement and develop proof of concept using Distributed Ledger Technology platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger.
3.One of the top 3 reasons for rejection has been lack of strong communications and presentation skills. The candidate is expected to articulate the technical details to business users. Candidate will be involved in writing technical papers, whitepapers, blogs, showcase research work and represent Client's research in the fintech industry.
4.Another top reason for rejection was lack of hands-on development experience. Candidates who are primarily project managers or client facing consultants will not be able to meet the technical requirements.
5.Besides development and software delivery responsibilities, project management is also an important aspect of the job.
