What you will be doing
Responsible for planning/implementing one architectural domain that supports the needs of our manufacturing facilities across the enterprise
Responsible for building a digital manufacturing framework for securely transferring data and providing plug-n-play capabilities for connecting IoT devices
Architect and implement a digital manufacturing platform which supports the collection of IoT data, connects to disparate systems and delivers data into an advanced analytics system.
Research Digital Manufacturing best practices and create use cases and supporting architectures around Digital Twins, Video Analytics, Blockchain, AI, Cloud, Mobile etc..
Oversee the research, design and advocate for new technologies, architectures, and products that will enable the business to operate better-cheaper-faster-safer .
Serve as a subject matter expert in the manufacturing space (Cloud, Mobile, IoT, Video, etc.)
Ensure project teams comply with current standards, policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Provide technical and hands-on leadership for building and implementing a flexible, secure and stable manufacturing platform across the enterprise
Work closely with enterprise architects, subject matter experts, AI/AA, and IT personnel for ensuring delivered solutions are providing business value.


What you need to know
Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
Networking, application development, and manufacturing / IoT experience
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, management and business personnel.
Ability to travel up to 20%. .
Ability to interact with company personnel, builds strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understands business imperatives.
Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies and policies.
