Job Description

In the specialty occupation position of Digital Distribution, Associate/VP of Natixis NA, the candidate will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Product Owner of Nucleus, the workflow/underwriting digital platform for Real Estate Finance:
  • Work with business technology to improve, add new functions and finish various phases of Nucleus.
  • Improve the interface of Nucleus for clients and internal underwriters
  • By adding functionalities, improve the closing and syndication processes of REF
  • Centralize database functions of the REF business to reduce repetitive data entries
  • Provide robust reporting functions through the Nucleus platform
  • Manage and consolidate all the data of the REF business:
  • Build and maintain a centralized database for the REF business
  • Maintain and update management reporting based on the central database
  • Work on presentations with business manager for senior management purpose or external marketing purpose
  • Research projects:
  • Work on special projects to incorporate the latest technology to the REF business. For example, the blockchain technology.
  • Big data analytics for REF business: leverage data available to perform credit or underwriting analytics to take advantage of the latest development on data pattern or artificial intelligence. A potential opportunity is use AI to improve the pricing process by using computing power to substitute large part of pricing process.
  • Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Excel VBA.
  • Deep understanding of rating agency models. Ability to precisely predict rating agency cash flow and rating level for proposed securitization.
  • Ability to build/maintain large database based on Excel and Access.
  • Fluent on preparing presentation. Great proficiency on developing theme, collecting data, design layout and wording to maximize desired effect.
  • Mastery of PowerPoint.
