GHD is leading the transformation of infrastructure markets globally focused on water, energy, transportation, environment, and buildings. GHD Digital aims to help our clients transform their businesses through the application of new digital technologies.
The Digital Accelerator works with emerging startups with technologies in areas as diverse as AI, blockchain, analytics, sensors, drones, AR/VR, and many others to partner and co-create solutions that we can bring to our clients. The Accelerator is a new team and the right candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the team. The role is open to be based anywhere GHD has a HUB location; San Francisco Bay Area, NYC, Boston, Atlanta and Seattle are open for consideration.
Network within the startup ecosystem (external accelerators, venture capitalists, universities, tech vendors) to source relevant startups for GHD Digital.
Engage with the startups to evaluate their technologies and business models and conduct due diligence.
Develop partnerships with startups.
Create high quality internal or customer-facing presentations.
Meet with GHD's clients to help formulate Accelerator hypotheses on key topics.
Manage ongoing collaboration and follow-through with startups that engage with GHD Digital.
Travel to GHD office locations or client sites as needed. (Mostly domestic - about 25%)
Experience in a technology product organization or in digital infrastructure, as an engineer, product manager, product marketing manager, partnership manager, design consultant, or venture capital associate.
MBA or substantially similar background.
Experience as an entrepreneur/founder in a technology business would be a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced yet collaborative and collegial environment.
Self-starter that likes to take the initiative.a
Ability to think creatively and analytically about markets and technologies, connect the dots, spot trends and patterns.
Familiarity with the startup ecosystem including incubators, accelerators, venture capital.
