IntroductionIBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a _DevSecOps Consultant - Application Architect_ you will be responsible for preparing gap analysis document and / or design a proposed DevSecOps adoption roadmap. You will analyze the clients' IT environment to achieve stated business goals using DevSecOps methodology and tools in conventional or Cloud environments. You will architect the DevSecOps tooling infrastructure and define the interface requirements among the various tool sets. In this role you will analyze the software build and deploy requirements for a project, portfolio, or account and define the architecture. You will design the deployment, and release management strategy using the necessary IBM and non IBM software tools.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ 4+ years equivalent DevSecOps experience including hands on open source or vendor specific tooling knowledge.+ 2+ Years Scripting (e.g. Python, PERL or SHELL) and automation+ 2+ Years working with Agile development and project management methodologies.+ 2+ years source control experience administering version control systems (i.e. Github, TFS)+ 1+ years of demonstrated containerization expertise.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Cloud Certification (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM) in architecture, DevSecOps, or equivalent.+ 1+ DB administration experience+ 1+ years ability to write automated test scripts for regression, smoke testing.+ 1+ Understanding of microservices, common frameworks, implementation and best practices.+ 1+ years of API Gateway, Service Discovery, API environment specific configurations, API keys, API user management.+ Understanding of 12 Factor Principle and cloud native development+ 1+ years experience in security, shift left security, and security tools.About Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
