As a UX Engineer in the Design Technology group at Intuit you will advocate for content strategy, creative directions, and engineering complexities. We're looking for engineers who bring new ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, content engineering, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile. We're looking for our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems as we use technology to push design forward.Our Team The Intuit Futures team defines and delivers new platform capabilities and experiences that accelerate Intuit's innovation and product delivery. By anticipating future customer needs and understanding external technology trends, our multi-disciplined team propels the next generation of customer experiences for Intuit's flagship products through cutting edge technologies such as Advanced AI, Knowledge Graphs, Blockchain, and CUI. As a Product Manager intern, you'll run experiments to test hypotheses with customers using lean startup techniques, complete market research and gather feature requirements for the development team.What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer interaction, Design, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Graduating no earlier than December 2021Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including author experience in content management systems.A portfolio of professional creative work that demonstrates intuitive front end user interfaces.Experience with the latest and greatest web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.Strong experience in modern JavaScript technologies, and one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python or PHP.Mastery of WordPress coding and security best practices.Experience building, deploying, DevOps, and web security for applications on cloud technologies such as AWSFamiliarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.An understanding of the principles of accessibility and can build products that are accessible to users with disabilitiesExcellent interpersonal communication skills and have a good attitude in a collaborative setting.A positive attitude and a lack of egoQuick learning tendencies and a self starter.Experience working in a large corporate settingOrganized, self-directed, efficient and comfortable in multiple and complex projects.AWS certification is a plus. How you will lead Knowledge of front-end design patterns and latest technology trends is a must.You must have a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends.Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.Strategize a path forward towards excellence based on findings and current problems.Set up and maintain sites on environments such as AWS and WordPressContributes to QuickBooks and Intuit Design SystemsA solid understanding of programming fundamentalsA strong advocacy for UX, adept at UI implementationCommunicating the value provided to cross-functional partnersBuilding tools to improve the UX process
