Job Summary

The Data Center Operations Manager will be the lead person overseeing the W3B Data Centers at our Partner sites. You will be vigilant, direct and proactive in seeing and solving problems. Communication is a must in this role as you will be liaising with internal and external partners on a day to day basis. If you are excited to drive innovation and maintain the systems W3B is built on then this is the role for you.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide strategic and operational support to W3BCLOUD's team
  • Owning the day to day running of W3B Data Centers at partner sites
  • Drafting key process and policies for the Safety and Security of all W3B assets and Employees
  • Implementation and continuous Audit of Process and Policy linked to all Datacenter activities
  • Designing and report key dashboards to push data to the wider team
  • Plan, grow and lead all people duties of the W3B datacenter staff, inclusive of attraction, retention and development
  • Leads W3B data center expansion WW including locating sites/partners and negotiating co-lo contracts
  • Draft presentations and reports for board and shareholder as required
  • Coordinate with various departments and perform integration of critical systems into infrastructure
  • Perform troubleshooting on data center, identify issues and assist in timely resolution of the same


What You'll Need to be Successful
  • Minimum 5+ years running Data Centers as the lead team member/Manager
  • 3+ years as a Team Leader/Manager Capacity
  • Strong knowledge of Data Center operations best practice and protections
  • Proven Technical understanding of hardware and software stacks
  • Established relationships with Vendors, Partners and Knowledge leaders in the industry
  • Previous experience managing a team inclusive of tasks such as recruitment, training, and engagement
  • Experience working with collaboration tools such as Airtable, Slack, Telegram, and Zoom
  • Ability to work independently (remote), manage large workloads, and keep deadlines
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work remotely with limited oversight
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of blockchain or crypto landscape or worked in a technology startup before
  • Degree Educated or Technical Certification in the IT/Tech Space preferred


This role is based on partner sites and will have office space to attend at.
