If so, lets talk. Your Role and Responsibilities IBM is hiring a Cybersecurity Portfolio Sales Specialist to join our sales team in the Financial Services Market. As a Portfolio Specialist you are responsible for leveraging IBMs full breadth and depth of Cybersecurity capabilities to provide solutions that retain existing and establish new business relationships. The Portfolio Specialist role is designed to work collaboratively with their respective domain specialists, Certified Technical Professionals, and Security Architect to differentiate IBMs value in the marketplace when engaged with clients..*Responsibilities:* + Generate sales leads, develop business opportunities, and negotiate pricing and contracts to business closure with clients in an assigned territory + Directly support existing clients and potential clients to promote IBM Security offerings + Deliver impactful sales presentations & demonstrations, conduct evaluations, prepare proposals, and respond to RFPs to achieve sales goals + Work closely with IBMs Partner Ecosystem by leveraging sales programs, partner initiatives, and advanced analytics to drive routes to market in assigned territory resulting in a direct impact on territory revenue + Establish and maintain contact with all clients in assigned territory developing key relationships across the organization (Executive, Technical, and LOB) + Administratively manage business pipeline in assigned CRM to accurately forecast productivity in the assigned territory and other assigned Business Unit administrative tasks Required Technical and Professional Expertise + 3+ years of experience selling software solutions in B2B sales role + Proven sales experience and success in the identification, progression, and closure of sales opportunities + Exceptional client relationship management skills and proven C Level relationships + Excellent communication (written and oral) and problem-solving skills + Demonstrates effective time management skills enabling multiple routes to market + Proven teaming and collaboration approach to territory development + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise + 3-5 years of selling cybersecurity solutions in a B2B sales role + Experience with IBMs Ecosystem of Security Partners + Demonstrate a challenger mentality capable of providing a point of view to a client that differentiates IBMs offerings and drives business outcomes About Business UnitIBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
