Simplify Workforce is creator of SimplifyVMS a new disruptive digital platform that helps enterprise clients manage their contingent workforce and SOW projects. The tool was developed in 2016 and has an ongoing roadmap to be a leader in the industry. It is cutting edge and intutive VMS platfrom whose goal is to change the way the industry utilizes and manages contingent labor. We also have various other software products/platforms in various development stages.
Simplify Workforce operates like a startup and we are looking for somebody who has that background. Should have extensive hands on experience with open source programming langauages and other innovative techologies.
As CTO you will be responsible for owning the strategic roadmap for SimplifyVMS and other techology platforms. The role will involve communicating with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure we continue to lead innovation in our industry and also ensure that company's technologies are successfully implemented accross our clients. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.
Evaluating and implementing improvements to the current system for ongoing innovation and disruption in the industry.
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Developing the company's strategy for using technological resources
Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
Build quality assurance and data protection processes
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Manage the current global technology team in excess of 50 resources and looking to grow it to over 100 resources in the next 1 year.
Hire strategic talent
Proven track record as a CTO, VP of Technology or similar leadership role with a techology product based company.
Excellent client facing skills.
Strong knowledge of system infrastructure and implementation using open source and relevant techologies.
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
Understanding of budgets and business-planning
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
Excellent communication, leadership and organizational abilities
Aptitude for problem-solving and strategic thinking

Please note that the environment we have for this particular product is like a startup setup. Most of the team is spread globally with just a few leaders based in our corporate office. The product itself is cloud based techology and hosted with AWS. So we are looking for somebody who can thrive in a start up environment and has extensive experience working with remote gobal talent.
