In our highly collaborative and global environment, you'll analyze the effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources and participate in the tactical planning for completion of identified project segment. Essentially, you'll perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems as well as perform technical activities which impact the proposal, system level design, detail design and manufacture of advanced electronics systems.

General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for a Computer Operations Support Analyst to support operations with the Missile Defense Agency. The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. The candidate will provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software and networks. The candidate will document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real world events. The candidate will also assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.

What you bring to the table:

* A Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Agile experience preferred
* Substantial use, understanding and tailoring of systems engineering concepts, principles and theories
* Substantial proficiency with requirements management & system modeling tools
* Ability to recognize various architectural patterns, apply them appropriately, understand strengths/weaknesses within those architectures and develop architectural variations as necessary
* Ability to lead technical security tasks for the Cyber team and Cyber products
* Assist Task Order managers with Basis of Estimates for Cybersecurity sections for proposal efforts
* Experience with Assessment and Authorization packages using the Risk Management Framework
* Ability to operate and sustain the C2BMC mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions supported by C2BMC's presence in the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC). Training systems support to include operating as necessary the Distributed Training System (DTS) Control Center (DCC) to train, qualify, certify, and maintain Warfighter proficiency at operating locations
* Experience monitoring systems management applications and software, generating ad hoc queries in response to queries and various troubleshooting scenarios and recommends/directs courses of action as appropriate
* Experience performing level 1 systems maintenance and installation activities for both operational and training environments
* Experience providing Help Desk support functions/assistance as required based on area of technical expertise/experience
* Experience analyzing logs and system performance and identifies any anomalies for further analysis/correction, Response to faults (errors), other incidents and user reported issues/outages
* Ability to performs other systems support/communications duties as assigned
* Familiarization with and execution of various systems related operating instructions, checklists, and related tactics, techniques and procedures

* Participates in meetings and daily stand ups with C2BMC operations and training leadership, JFCC-IMD and other war fighter external organizations and other Commands on matters related to systems operations and security issues affecting C2BMC mission systems and systems interfaces
* Utilizes trouble ticketing and master station logs to document and update problems encountered/resolved and related actions taken on a daily basis
* Coordinates with inter- and intra-organization personnel and customers on related areas of interest related to C2BMC and supporting system operations
* May be required to review DCC training scenario data to determine accuracy and assessing C2BMC simulation performance, and participate in White Cell conferences as necessary, to support DCC training scenario execution
* Willingness to assume added qualifications to perform other crew positions-including network management/enterprise control and network defense dependent on need and personal capabilities
* Ability to understand and act upon conflicts with diplomacy and tact, relating to network management, network security and configuration control
* Demonstrates strong project management and organization skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise reports and to brief daily network operations summaries and pending issues and concerns to senior leaders and a larger audience
* Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems

Candidate must meet minimum requirements of DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Security +, etc).
