Cloud Engineer


Skills and responsibilities

  • Technical and analytical skills to identify, initiate, configure and deploy cloud security across cloud environments - AWS, Azure and / or Google Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on experience in security or engineering operations of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including basic compute and storage (EC2, EBS, S3), networking (VPC), and exposure to security services (IAM, Security Groups, etc.)
  • Assess new and existing cloud implementations, identifying security issues, misconfigurations, and prioritizing fixes/remediation.
  • Analyze Enterprise IT and Information Security concepts like Network, Storage, Virtualization, Identity Management, Encryption, and Server Management.
  • Experience with using and configuring services in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform from a security perspective
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management
  • Understanding of key cloud provider solutions and cloud orchestration tools (e.g. Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Chef
  • Nice to have: Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP or CCSK or any AWS Certified Professional or Specialty certification (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty).
  • Candidate who do not have all of the above skills. However, the candidate should be willing to learn and work in a collaborative and fast work environment.
