Responsibilities:

• Decreasing transaction time and cost for the Mav Farm ecosystem, while enabling new functionality. This role is ideal for engineers who are experts in peer-to-peer protocol development, familiar with the bitcoin blockchain, and keen to build a clean-slate system from the ground up. Our goal is the deployment of a working testnet, successfully design the Mav Farm Blockchain, such that it can support benchmark use-cases of Mav Farm's decentralized applications, and a successful launch of the Mav Farm Blockchain, measured in the transaction bandwidth of the Mav Farm network
• Integrate with various block chains to add support for new coins within BitGo's wallet platform
• Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from the inception to deployment and customer integration
• Architect end-to-end solutions for our customers using blockchain.
• Help develop an overall blockchain ecosystem engagement strategy.
• In partnership with consulting, business development, and subject matter experts, formulate and execute a strategy to drive adoption of distributed ledgers
• BitGo is the leader in digital asset financial services, providing institutional investors with liquidity, custody, and security solutions. In 2020, BitGo launched Prime Trading and Lending, as well as BitGo Portfolio and Tax, providing clients with a full-stack solution for digital assets.
• Build integration libraries and SDKs to interface with our server and APIs
• Expose and document functionality to the UI, third-party developers, and our internal and external tooling.
• Work on research ideas involving smart contract development across different block chains like Ethereum, Polkadot and Cosmos, etc.
• Interact effectively with high-volume trading desks and partner operations areas to understand day- to-day requirements and issues timely resolution for live applications.

• Deep understanding about blockchain fundamentals (smart contracts, web3, DAOs).

• Experience with scripting languages like python, JavaScript, etc.
• Knowledgeable about smart contract security and best practices (design patterns)

Nice to have

• Strong programming skills in Java
• Experience with Bitcoin or Ethereum
• Understanding or experience with MongoDB
