Token Metrics is seeking a Blockchain Research Software Engineer to help our team with blockchain and cryptocurrency software development and research. Blockchain engineers will be researching, evaluating, and auditing open-source blockchain software, smart contracts, tokens, protocols, and more. As a blockchain engineer, you'll work with an experienced technical team who are all committed to building world-changing decentralized infrastructure. If you're the right person, you've got a passion for blockchain, open-source, and decentralized finance, have strong development and code skills, and the ability to communicate well.The duration of the Token Metrics internship program is 3 months. It is an evaluative unpaid internship with the possibility of return offers, depending on the company's needs.ResponsibilitiesExperience with distributed systems, highly concurrent systems, communicating sequential processes (CSP) modelExperience with Golang, TypeScript, Solidity, Rust, Docker, PostgresExperience interacting with Ethereum and other blockchainsExcitement for blockchain, Web 3.0, and similar decentralized technologiesComfort working remotely in a distributed teamRequirementsProfessional software development experienceMajor in computer science, software engineering or related technical fieldExperience with test-driven development and the use of testing frameworksExperience developing complex web applications/services and backend APIsKnowledge of systems design conceptsExperience with distributed systems and/or container orchestrationStrong communication skills, specifically giving/receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative settingAbout Token MetricsToken Metrics helps crypto investors build profitable portfolios using artificial intelligence based crypto indices, rankings, and price predictions.
