Principal Accountability:
Develops and implements designs for automated testing framework.
Develops software for the testing framework.
Assist Manager and Lead in identifying automation opportunities and testability challenges with the application, identifying project risks, and implementing process changes and efficiencies.
Responsible for creating, maintaining SDLC artifacts and facilitating artifact reviews.
Understands testing methodologies and support test efforts.
Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups.

Experience:
Typically 5+ years of progressively more demanding work experience that relates to the Sr. position.
Must have demonstrated a successful development career progression including testing;
Financial industry experience and/or middleware messaging like TIBCO/IBM MQ is a plus, but not mandatory.

Software Requirements:
Required: 3+ years of experience in core Java technology and multi-threading.
Strong SQL experience preferably in Oracle.
Preferred: Tibco RV/MQ messaging experience, ATDD framework like FIT/FITnesse, Cucumber, JBehave, Messaging Protocols like FIX.
