Your Role and Responsibilities
Blockchain services is a high growth, strategic practice within IBM Services that covers the full spectrum of blockchain network enablement. IBM is a leader in blockchain as well as cloud, analytics, mobile, social, and cognitive computing solutions. IBM is leading the emergence of various blockchain based trusted business networks to address new market opportunities as well as rewiring the way business transactions are executed by effectively combining blockchain with other innovative technologies such as IoT, Digital and Cognitive capabilities.
Our blockchain services team partners with clients across various domains to realize value by applying blockchain technology to drive ecosystem transformation. Our practitioners leverage blockchain and other cutting edge cognitive technologies, IBM's design thinking methodology and collaboration tools to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions to the clientele. The accelerated growth of this practice has created an exciting opportunity for an Associate Partner who will assist us in selling, building, and delivering blockchain services.
The Blockchain Services Associate Partner will serve in a key role to sell and oversee delivery of complex, innovative solutions focused on driving new business opportunities and/or solving business problems with blockchain and other adjunct capabilities. The Blockchain Services Associate Partner will be the main point of contact with C-level executives and their teams, and needs to have the appropriate intellect and gravitas to have strategic conversations about client's and/or business ecosystem's specific current and potential future business needs.
* Translate client requirements into formal agreements, establishing specific solutions, and leading the efforts that culminate in client acceptance of the results.
* Develop program, project, product, and business strategies, and reviewing these with client Executive Management. This includes implementation of these resulting solutions on the engagements.
* Responsible for contractual cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
* Manage resources and co-ordinate client resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization and the program.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 10+ years of consulting experience leading large, complex projects within leading consulting and/or Fortune 500 companies
* Ability to lead business development activities with an emerging technology in a highly dynamic environment
* Proven ability of story-telling with blockchain, explaining outcomes / results in context of the business and industry to make it actionable
* Successful hands on full life cycle project experience
* Management experience of large dispersed teams
* Experience in building high-performing teams in an accelerated growth environment
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience supporting Financial Services clients
* Experience with digital assets
* Strong credentials, expertise and eminence in supply chain, processes for financial services, accounting, or banking industries
* Demonstrated deep knowledge of blockchain technologies such as Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, Corda and key blockchain concepts such as smart contracts, consensus, data persistence, security, privacy and cryptography.
* Expertise in leveraging adjunct technologies including IoT, Digital/Mobile, Cognitive Capabilities to solve specific business challenges
* Thought leadership in creating new intellectual property to drive tangible business outcome
* Proven track record in scaling Proof of Concepts to production and embedding blockchain in processes across various domains
