JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Software Development, the Architect, Data Analytics will enter review and analyze data within the database; ensure user data integrity; make decisions affecting user access; document and record attributes; formulate database query and retrieval scripts; and review database design and integration of systems and provide backup recovery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will develop business solutions by creating new and modifying existing business intelligence solutions created on Microsoft BI platform. You will design, code, test, debug, document and support OBI/SSIS/SSRS/SQL Server SP based applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Your will have to multi-task, prioritize work, and work independently under aggressive timelines.

  • Develop end-to-end BI/Data Analytics solutions using tools such as Tableau, OBI, SSIS/SSRS for complex business requirements
  • Complete production support service requests, troubleshooting issues and batch support to ensure high levels of application availability and accuracy
  • Provide regular and periodic maintenance/upgrade of data warehouse SQL server, BI tools like Tableau, OBI, SSIS and SSRS
  • Serve as the primary POC for all technical issues related to the Data warehouse solutions/Platform. Learn and support new tools on the job.
  • Work with business leaders to develop detailed business requirements, creating functional design, gap analysis, technical design, and traceability matrices
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university in Information Technology or similar and 5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Expert development/debug skills with tools such as Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Microsoft SQL Server Integration services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS) tool or similar tool
  • Strong background on T-SQL
  • Experience performing administrative tasks on SQL Server
  • Ability to develop/troubleshoot/enhance complex Stored Procedures for data loadings/transformation
  • Ability to work independently to meet objectives with aggressive timelines
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work well in a team environment
  • Strong working knowledge of other enterprise reporting tools like Tableau , Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE),BO etc.
  • Good understanding of key IT / business systems / ERP, General Ledger, Reporting and Analytics, Data Warehousing, CRM, etc.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good knowledge on Business Intelligence design
  • Query Performance Tuning
  • Experience in error handling, job monitoring/reverse-engineering, notification rules, proactive communication
