Learn more at httpsynechron.comtechnology httpsynechron.comtechnology20 Synechron Inc is seeking Application Support Tier 2 in financial services to join our Charlotte, NC team. bull Accountable for the health of the run-time controlled environments. bull Provides Tier 2 application support for Prod, BCP and UAT environments. bull Lead overall EACO incidents, e.g. lead and facilitate multiple enterprise engineering functions for fast and effective triaging and recovery, stakeholder communication. bull Code diagnostics and triaging. bull Create, review and run highly advanced queries for custom data extracts and modifications (1,500 instances per year). bull Participate in business continuity planning and execution. bull Reliability engineering, to ensure stability, security, availability, and scalability, e.g. by building automated checks and validations. bull System monitoring and applicable health checks (start of day, end of day, etc.) leveraging multiple tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, APM, etc). bull Contribute to root cause analysis and preventative actions efforts. bull Operational Readiness, e.g. through upstream project engagement (including Technology Compliance Program initiatives) and support of lower environments. Duties will include working with customers to gain an understanding of business requirements, and ensure that customersrsquo expectations are understood and met. Utilize diagnostic and other tools to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems and documenting the results. Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups Represent team in Project Scrum meetings and Root Cause analysis. Participate in application project implementations, maintenance, and upgrades. Use sound judgment to make effective recommendations to management, customers, and peers. Will update and develop new documentation for departmental procedures. Be a mentor to other team members in regards to proper procedures and technical concepts. Individual should work well independently and as a member of a high performance team. These responsibilities span numerous products, services and platforms across the lifecycle (build through production) in an Agile development environment for the Retirement business Specifically, this entails 4 million retail customers, 5,000 wholesale customers, and thousands of internal users spanning multiple business lines and continents 2.5 million customer logins per day 750 billion in customer assets and 650 million average daily mutual fund and equity trading volume. Furthermore, it entails a comprehensive suite of technology capabilities, such as Mobileweb and contact center account access, investments and trading, recordkeeping, deposits, payments, loans, reporting, workflow, and back-end processing." Typical skills and experience bull 5-15+ years of systems support analysis and engineering experience, depending on role level. bull Advanced of computer applications, diagnostic abilities and agile software development. bull Advanced engineering skillset in application domain, e.g. SQL scripting, Java, code analysis. bull Experience with production support, on-call rotation, and end-user training. bull Excellent customer service skills. bull Experience working with a ticketing system.
