Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position:
Job Overview Advanced Linux System Administrator who also possesses a basic Cisco network device skillset to operate and maintain the Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) component of the Trusted Network Environment (TNE) 11S in accordance with Government requirements and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Enterprise Cross Domain Solution. Candidates with real-world experience managing Cisco telephony infrastructure devices, including the Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unified Border Element (CUBE) and Meeting Servers (CMS) are preferred. Familiarity with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) voice and video infrastructure currently in use on the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), both the Global Video Service (GVS) and the Enterprise Voice over Internet Protocol (ECVoIP), is highly desired.The candidates primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining the Linux based DCO subsystem and its VMWare-based host environment. This will require keeping the Linux-based servers up to date with patches and assisting with configuration changes as the system evolves. Secondary responsibilities to include assistance with investigating, troubleshooting, debugging, and characterizing issues as they relate to the cross-domain voice and video capability provided by the TNE 11S system.The DCO operator can expect to have daily interaction with other system administrators located both locally at the San Antonio site and the system administrators posted to the four other customer sites which host the Federated TNE Infrastructure (FTI).
