Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Office of the CFO on accounting and financial analysis.
- Monitor and report on cryptocurrency holdings by accessing internal softwares and data streams.
- Pay special attention to reconciliations of cryptocurrency exchanges and custodians.
- Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
- Provide financial status information by preparing special reports and completing special projects.
- Correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
- Assist Accounting team with preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities as well as keeping up with the changes in our industry.
- Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Help analyze data and financials as needed.
Requirements:
- B.A. in Accounting is preferred but not mandatory, an intermediate understanding of Accounting principals, good math and Excel skills.
- A team player, hardworking with good organization skills. We are a fast growing company and we want a candidate who is willing to put in the time to grow with Us.
- A knowledge of crypto, blockchain and fintech is a big plus!
- Strong Data management skills
