If this sounds like a world for you, Edelman has an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join the technology practice in our San Francisco office ! This vital position will work on a diverse range of consumer and B2B technology clients.
As an Account Executive, you will contribute to daily account work by managing projects and junior staff. You will learn Edelman's Communications Marketing processes/approaches and bring them to life for a variety of exciting clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors Play a meaningful role in client service, spanning account management, media and influencer relations, paid, content creation, research and more Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative and an interest in creative problem-solving Commit to continuous learning through Edelman University and other training opportunities Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman's values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefits) and our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Basic Qualifications At least one year of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing
Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university Intricate level of understanding of the account(s), the clients' businesses, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, opposition, etc. Solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used to achieve client goals Strong research, writing and editing skills and the ability to develop media contacts/relationships Fundamental understanding of media outreach assignments and the ability to apply experience and initiative in developing appropriate traditional and online media strategies
